ABOUT ME

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I'm Samantha McLaren.

I graduated from George Mason University with a BA in Art Visual Technology with a concentration in New Media and a minor in Japanese Language. I've also studied abroad in Japan at Sophia University in Intensive Japanese courses.

My background includes design experience producing print and social media marketing and promotional collateral, designing magazine covers and page layouts, editing images and posts and managing multiple advertisements for web and print during seasonal holidays under quick deadlines. I love to challenge myself in any project I'm given and apply my fresh innovative ideas. The key to my work is experimentation. I get a concept going in my mind, lay it out, and go crazy and see how everything blends together in the project. I'm eager to learn new programs that benefit me and grow as a designer.

I love the work that I do and I continue pursuing my dream as a graphic designer.
