I started creating Women in Esports magazine for an esports gaming club at a middle school to inspire girls who want to become a competitive gamer. The magazine is about how women get into gaming, how women are treated in the gaming community, sponsorship for women and how women are paid less then men in sponsorship. An organization that helped women get into gaming is Misscliks located in California.
Students who enjoy esports as a hobby or hardcore, the Virginia Esports Association at Virginia Tech (VESPA) hosts tournaments in their community, providing participation for men AND women.
